- but secretly he’s just a little ball of sunshine with too much positivity
- a little too innocent for this job ( seriously who even introduces a job as a criminal defense attorney omg)
- always bugs his buddy, Detective Park Sungjin on the force with questions like “Why did that guy rob that bank? Maybe it’s because he has a sick wife and he needs money for her,”
- “tHAT’S IT, HE DOESN’T HAVE A WIFE,” that would be detective sungjin’s response.
- or poor wonpil would get ignored, aS USUAL
- the type to always sympathize his clients, and always try his best to help them
- gets over optimistic sometime which annoys some of his clients
- not brian tho, one of his client who finds wonpil cute so he tolerates him
- lowkey gets excited whenever he has a meeting with brian, bc he thinks brian is cool and charming even though he’s a criminal
- not the same case with his other client, Jae bc the older ignores him a lot
- but wonpil thinks jae is probably just depressed or something, so he tries even harder to make him laugh or help him in every way he can
- which annoys Jae even more tbvh, but poor wonpil is either just ignoring it or he really doesn’t know
- needs his daily coffee, and every coffee he orders always has extra shots of syrup
- visits the cafe just opposite his office so much that the barista there already knows his orders
- is always sweet towards everyone, smiling and all but once he’s on court, he turns into chic wonpil
- no smiles and all which makes him seem cold and professional af,
- imaging him staring straight ahead, looking serious af and at the same time, spitting out sentences and logics that make perfect sense that his client is innocent, not smiling once
- but secretly, he’s still nervous and excited he could burst out yelling and prays that he doesn’t screw anything up
- overall, he’s just the friendliest lawyer and a ball of sunshine who everyone is either secretly jealous of or hate. (Just don’t try to get yourself into jail just bc you want lawyer pil as your defense attorney. ;) A BIG NO THERE)
